Shutter Speed- 1/6
Aperture f/3.5

 Frozen Motion-
ISO 400
Shutter Speed- 1/13
Aperture- f/4

 Panning-
ISO 800
Shutter Speed- 1/13
Aperture- f/4

 Writing With Light-
ISO 100
Shutter Speed- 15.0
Aperture- f/3.5

Zooming-
ISO 800
Shutter Speed- 1/1
Aperture- f/16

Through this unit, I learned that you can create different types of motion using different shutter speeds. A slow shutter speed can create blurs and motion, while a fast shutter speed can create absolutely frozen motion. If you want to make a picture perfectly still, you MUST use a tripod or it will not work out. Overall, I think this unit was very useful in learning a lot of different ways to convey motion in a photo.

If I were to do this project again, I think I would do a lot the same way. The only thing I would change would be that I would need to prepare more for the writing with light. As long as you plan out what you are going to do and how you want it to work out, you will be successful in the end.

Motion Shooting Assignment

I think that overall, my shooting assignment was successful. I believe that my chrono worked out very well, along with my blurred motion. I think that the most difficult part was the frozen motion. Because I was inside, and the gym is relatively dark, I found it very difficult to get a fast enough shutter speed for the photos. The panning shots took a number of tries to work out, but I think they ended up looked good. I think that my writing with light photography works, but I believe it could have been much better.

Motion- In Class

Chrono- I took this photo using a fast shutter speed and a tripod. This allowed me to keep the camera in the same place.
ISO- 200 Shutter Speed- 1/8 Aperture- f/4.5

Blurred Subject- I captured this moment by using a tripod and a slow shutter speed. This allowed me to blur the moving people while also keeping the background clear.
ISO- 100 Shutter Speed- 1/4 Aperture- f/18
Panning- We took this photo by using a slow shutter speed and no tripod. This allowed us to follow the subject and keep them clear while blurring the background.
ISO- 400 Shutter Speed- 1/20 Aperture- f/29
Frozen Motion- I took this photo with a fast shutter speed and a tripod. This caught the motion and made everything clear.
ISO- 100 Shutter Speed- 1/500 Aperture- f/3.5
Zooming- We took this picture with a slow shutter speed and a tripod. One I clicked the shutter I cranked the zoom.
